Volunteer Opportunities

Generation Joshua is committed to equipping young Christians to serve their communities through hands-on volunteer opportunities. Our volunteer challenges provide students with practical experiences that build character, develop leadership skills, foster deeper bonds within communities, and demonstrate Christian virtue in action.

Recent Volunteer Efforts

In November 2024, Generation Joshua mobilized a Student Response Team to help communities in the mountains of North Carolina devastated by Hurricane Helene. Working alongside Samaritan's Purse, our volunteers assisted with critical disaster recovery work, including tarping damaged houses, cutting and hauling fallen trees, and cleaning out homes filled with dirt and debris.

This type of disaster response embodies the heart of our volunteer program—Christians coming together to serve those in need during challenging times.

Historically, GenJ volunteers have cleaned local pro-life pregnancy resource centers, participated in homeschool lobby days, helped stock local food pantries, hosted forums for candidates in their area to engage in meaningful dialogue on issues, and visited nursing homes to spend time with the elderly.
